SCALEKIN

To be counted as scalekin, a creature must be possessed of a rough, scaly, tough hide that lends itself to defense. Though dragons are not properly considered scalekin, nonetheless it is believed there is some kinship that permits dragons to press scalekin into servitude. (1)
